McBride Homes, Missouri's largest homebuilder, has an exciting new opportunity for a Customer Care Receptionist to join our team. As the industry leader, we have built over 35,000 homes across the St. Louis area and are proudly celebrating our 75th year in business. Located in our new state-of-the-art corporate office in Chesterfield Valley, the Customer Care Receptionist will field phone calls from customers and support the customer service team in delivering world-class service to McBride homeowners. The Customer Care Receptionist will also answer general phone calls, greet visitors, and perform other administrative tasks.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a large volume of customer phone calls, answer questions, and document any issues for follow-up by the customer service team, using FreshDesk ticketing system.
  • Answer, screen, and direct general phone calls and voice mail messages.
  • Greet all visitors upon arrival, determining the purpose of each person's visit, then escort them to the appropriate location.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and other deliveries.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical tasks as required.

Requirements include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Preference given to candidates with Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
  • FreshDesk experience preferred.
  • Excellent phone skills with ability to manage a high call volume.
  • Must have a professional appearance and demeanor, upbeat and friendly personality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to relate to a wide variety of people while providing superior customer service and maintaining professional composure.
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
