Customer Service Manager

 

McBride Homes, Missouri's largest homebuilder, seeks to add a Customer Service Manager. The Customer Service Manager will ensure that world-class service continues to be delivered to our homeowners.  This role will oversee the customer service team and act as a conduit between internal and external teams to achieve this goal. 

 

Duties include communicating and coordinating with homeowners, vendors, and field personnel to ensure warranty issues are properly handled in a timely manner.  Our goal is to demonstrate that McBride Homes puts its homebuyers first, utilizing work ethic, communication, and people skills.

 

This position requires high energy, exceptional customer service skills, and significant attention to detail, with focus on process and quality assurance, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.  

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Administer and train personnel on builder's warranty.
  • Hands on leadership approach that continues to coordinate and schedule service appointments, while managing

         a small team.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, and report directly to the President.
  • Enter and maintain current homeowner information and issue, track, and complete work orders in a large database system.
  • Coordinate scheduling or walk throughs between homeowners and building Superintendent.
  • Review quality of closings and service.
  • Issue work orders and coordinate service appointments between homeowner and vendors.
  • Track open work orders to ensure vendors complete as scheduled and to the homeowner's satisfaction.
  • Manage list of weekly delinquent work orders to ensure they are completed as soon as possible.
  • Prepare and track necessary documents to completion and submit them for review and approval of field personnel.
  • Maintain contract filing system.
  • Compile data and prepare reports.
  • Provide general office assistance such as phone coverage, sorting and distribution of mail, e-mailing, faxing, documenting, copying, printing computer files, etc.

 

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor degree or higher preferred; minimum of an Associate degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 3 years Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional composure in a wide variety of situations
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional leadership skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
  • The candidate must enjoy working closely with others in a collaborative, small office environment.
  • The candidate must submit to a mandatory drug test and background check
