McBride Homes, Missouri's largest homebuilder has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our team. As the industry leader, we have built over 35,000 homes across the St. Louis area and are proudly celebrating our 75th year in business. Located in a new state-of-the-art office in Chesterfield Valley, the Executive Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities to assist the CEO in facilitating the efficient operation of the organization. In addition, this position will evolve into providing support to other members of the Executive Team, including the President and the CFO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the CEO's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.
  • Assist the CEO with daily administrative duties such as completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas and compiling documents for meetings.
  • Work closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and important dates, following up appropriately.
  • Act as the point of contact between the CEO and other executives, employees, and external parties.
  • Handle various errands for the CEO as needed for both business and personal reasons.
  • Plan, coordinate, organize and assist with company meetings, events, and celebrations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for greeting and directing all visitors upon arrival.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and voice messages, appropriately relay important information promptly.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages, filing or scanning documents accordingly.
  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies.

Requirements Include:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' work experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Ability to adapt, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work independently
