Market Analyst - Land Acquisition

McBride Homes is looking to add a Market Analyst - Land Acquisition to its team. The right candidate will support the land team and report directly to the CEO and VP of Land Acquisition. This position will work heavily with researching and analyzing data and properties using GIS and land acquisition software.

Salary Range:

$50,000 to $75,000

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or higher
• 5 years of experience with GIS or related land acquisition software
• Familiarity with GIS research and market analysis
• Proficiency with MS Office – Excel

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to utilize Geographic Information System based platforms, Zonda software, MLS, and local government resources to conduct market research and analysis
• Responsible for gathering, compiling, and analyzing information to complete the research for land analysis under consideration
• Provide Key Economic Indicator Analysis
• Utilize research tools such as Metrostudy to assist in market evaluations
• Initially investigate site characteristics, including current and required zoning, compatibility with land use plans, wetlands, topography, school districts, competitors, and proximity to employment centers
• Monitor Unified Development Ordinances (UDO/LDO) and infrastructure changes
• Creates, designs, maintains, and updates databases using GIS and other land software
• Manages ArcGIS Enterprise
• Applies QA/QC standards and procedures to ensure data accuracy
• Publishes map, features, data, and excel reports
• Analyzes and interprets spatial data
• Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments in the geographic information system
