Senior Architectural Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Senior Architectural Designer to join our design team. You'll play a key role in the conceptualization, development, and execution of architectural projects, contributing both technical expertise and innovative design solutions across a range of residential projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about residential design, skilled in digital drafting, and has a strong understanding of residential construction techniques and architectural standards.

Salary Range: $65,000+/yr. and an annual, discretionary bonus program
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and internal project teams to develop design concepts and architectural drawings
- Produce detailed construction documents, floor plans, sections, & elevations
- Assist in site analysis, zoning research, and code compliance reviews within local municipalities
- Participate in internal client meetings and presentations, contributing to design discussions
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors during project development
- Support design revisions and documentation throughout design and construction phases
- Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and building technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in architectural design, residential preferred
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Bluebeam Revu
- Strong design sensibility and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of building codes within local municipalities
- Experience with construction documents and technical detailing
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
