System Administrator-Cyber Security

McBride Homes has an exciting opportunity for a System Administrator-Cyber Security to join our technology team. McBride is Missouri's largest homebuilder and is an industry leader in residential new home construction. We have built over 35,000 homes across the St. Louis area and have been in business over 75 years. This is an in-office position located in our new state-of-the-art facility in Chesterfield Valley. We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of Microsoft server administration and networking and who can identify business continuity concerns and security gaps to anticipate and prevent business interruptions.

Responsibilities include:

• Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate networks and cloud servers
• Safeguard company information systems
• Inform management of business continuity risks
• Implement and maintain firewall rules and azure network security groups
• Setup, maintain, and test system backups
• Server and client system patching
• End user security training and auditing
• End user support

Requirements include:

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
• Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions.
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, and common security elements
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory
• Experience setting up firewall rules for corporate networks
• This is a 100% in office position Monday-Friday with on call availability, including weekend support if needed
