Talent Recruiter

McBride Homes seeks a Talent Recruiter to build a strong candidate pipeline and fill a variety of positions in support of the company's continued growth. Over its 70+ year history, McBride has attained a position as a market leader and is the largest homebuilder in Missouri. McBride also has the largest market share for new home construction in the St. Louis metropolitan area and the highest percentage of market share for any builder in the country in a top 50 market.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and define requirements for open positions.
  • Develop effective recruiting strategies aligned with company's staffing goals.
  • Use technology and innovative sourcing methods to identify new talent and build candidate pipeline.
  • Act as the first point of contact with potential candidates, conduct phone screens, face-to-face interviews, summarize results and recommend next steps.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, assist with offer letters and scheduling of pre-hire activities.
  • Ensure a positive, consistent image and approach is integrated throughout all recruiting efforts.
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System and create management reports.

 

Requirements include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  Preference given to candidates with Bachelor Degree with emphasis in Human Resources or related field
  • 1-3 years' experience with full life cycle recruitment in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency using a variety of traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods, such as internet, social media, job boards, networking, referrals, university relationships
  • Proven experience sourcing hard to fill roles
  • Experience using various Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of general Human Resources practices and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Must enjoy working closely with others in a collaborative, small office environment.
